In my past experience in retailing with catalogues, the name of the game is persistence. As with recruiting some will, some won't order so what next, next , next... Keep reminding yourself of the bigger picture, this is a journey we're on to grow our financial future whilst doing something very worthwhile for our environment. To succeed in this business you have to tough it out, develop a thick skin, be open to opportuity as you never know how, when and who may ask to order or join the business be prepared.
Now some people may not be willing to stay the course they want instant returns, imagine yourself owning a traditional shop you've just spent £5000 getting it up and running and no one comes through the door...what are you going to do !!! Remember "if it's to be me it's up to me"
Make this business your own take it seriously and it will reward you like you never knew it could we all have to do the hard yards. There's constant peaks and troughs just like any other business at least you're not risking your home over it. If you can't invest money in it you have to put your time into it, keep very focussed never never let the naysayers and doomsayers stop you (stel your dreams). Ask yourself this if I want to be successful watch /mimic / do what successful people do and you will become successful. If you watch and listen to unsuccessful people that's exactly what'll you will be.
Back to retailing remember if someone orders it's because they like you and the products, always ask if they can recommend 2/3 other people who might like to buy these products, ask for details, but you have to follow up. word of mouth marketing simply the best way to go.
Keep working at it hard guys and we can make wikaniko and ourselves a big success.
